The worse thing to do it’s to think that all your dreams must be free. That if you think at something you definitely must have that something. Even though it’s not what you need.

I had my dream of Starbucks fulfilled yesterday and what did I do today ? I craved for more. What happens when dreams get to be too expensive? you replace them. copycat dream should be its name. So I took my kettle and made myself 3 huge mugs of coffee to last me for the entire afternoon. And then I thought of seaside…

The news about the trip to Brighton organized by Photosoc on my saint day next week came unnoticed while I was listening to the Kooks version of how to fall in love at the Seaside.  And it made me day dream more. Realizing this idea would not be possible, i remembered that i still have a chance to discover the waves and the sand in some paintings during the gallery crawl on Saturday. Copycat, again.

Nevertheless, some things can not be replaced. Not because you can’t find anything else instead of them, but because underneath it all, it’s not the necessity, but the desire that makes you lose your control.

You want them even though you don’t need them. I admit the fact that i need dreams like coffee & winter sea, but what if there are things that i don’t need.. why should i deserve them?

I think I am more comfortable with things of which I could find copycats. I can’t handle desire, I can’t make a timetable for that, can’t fit it in my ordinary life. It ruins all my plans and makes me do mad things.

Necessity is easy to deal with and causes no unpredictable problems and for that I’m dreaming of Starbucks and a day at Seaside. These dreams are easy to replace with something real.

Yesterday, — Garden & Weeks Hall – organized a trip in one of the most beautiful places in Belgium. Well known for being the Venice of the North, — Bruges —  proved that it’s an amazing place no matter how the weather is.

Although we only spent 5 hours in the town centre, we had the opportunity to admire its churches,to smell the burning leaves in autumn driveways, to feel the atmosphere from a local restaurant, moreover to try its delicateses and to take pictures of chocolate varieties. 

On our way back we stopped near Callais and the guys raced themselves at Auchan in buying the largest number of bottles of cheap alcohol. Oh, and I almost got lost in the supermarket parking and got famous for that. I don’t know whether i’ve been more scared than emabressed, but the fact is that my worries of being late (that i shared with Mark) at the beginning of the trip  came true eventually. All’s well when it ends well.

We  took the last eurotrain and got back to London at midnight. A beautiful day to remember!

I wish you all a Happy and Scary Halloween! My photo this year comes in the form of a nice blue-ish pumpkin, nothing too impressive, just a shot from last week’s trip to Notting Hill.

I had my first H. party this Wednesday when I should have worn a costume. And I actually did. I was disguised in the clone of myself. (that is - just normal clothes). Or another version, I was a pink ghost , and as people don’t usually see ghosts they didn’t see me either which was even scarier this way cause they were talking with an invisible person.

Uhh, good. maybe next year I will actually wear a propper costume. See you then!
