Below is one of the news from today’s Press Wrap that I got by email this morning. In other news, I had vouchers for free lunch at Pret a Manger.(The cookie was great!) I sometimes start to question the reasons I like this office.

 
“Artists including Basement Jaxx and Fatboy Slim to launch annual Oxjam festival.Oxfam will host a series of concerts in one of its London shops to promote its campaign against climate change.
The charity has announced that singers VV Brown, Just Jack and Nitin Sawhney, indie rock band Editors and DJs Fatboy Slim and Basement Jaxx will play to about 150 fans at the as yet unnamed shop to mark the beginning of the charity’s Oxjam music festival, which will run throughout October.
An Oxfam spokesman said details of the venue for the gigs, which will take place between 28 September and 1 October, would be released later this month. Oxjam involves thousands of locally organised fundraising music events across the UK. It has raised more than £1m for the charity since 2006. “
